The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's)

'Sans Peur'       Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders red and white dicing       'Ne Obliviscaris'

J. Gallagher

Although the days are getting few,
There is a story I must relate to you,
It tells of men so brave and bold
And deeds of valour still untold.

One of these men is Sergeant Cree,
A braver man you will rarely see,
With experience gained before our time,
He helps to keep the men in line.

Our leader's name is Lieutenant Watson,
Whom the "Gollies" fear and have not forgotten,
But their revenge will have to keep,
Or terror again he will wreak.

Surely the boys who are on their toes,
Must be our gallant NCOs,
With a thankless job they do their best,
And with men like us they get little rest
With Cpls Curran, Chocolate and Bally
Around 16 Platoon's flag we will rally.

But let's not forget the gallant Jock,
With nerves of iron and hard as rock,
With stories of courage still unsurpassed,
They, at least, would fight to the last.
