The Drum Major in Shirt Sleeve Order (kilt) wearing :-
  • Glengarry bonnet with Regimental cap badge
     
  • the claret wine coloured sash over his right shoulder
     
  • this coloured sash is worn only by the Drum Major and the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM)
     
  • white waistbelt with Regimental pattern buckle
     
  • a Government No. 3 pattern, tartan kilt with panel
     
  • a white hair, silver cantle sporran with 3 black tassels and silver-tops
     
  • Menzies diced hose
     
  • red garter flashes at the front of the hose on each leg
     
  • a skean dhu in the hose of his right leg
     
  • white Highland spats
     
  • black Highland brogues
     
  • he is carrying a cane with silver top and wrapped-around silver chain
