Limni Camp Cyprus, Cruachan had the run of the place. The Pony Major let him gallop to the NAAFI where he drank Guinness straight from the bottle without breaking it.
After a couple of those, you had to stand well clear, for he fairly kicked-up his heels.

Argyll brass bed plate This is the Argyll brass plate we placed on our beds during kit inspections.

Our Army number and name were stamped on the centre of it.

Although this example has seen a bit of service, it used to be continually polished with brasso until it was gleaming!
